Join Bluewater Photo & Travel on Tuesday, October 27th at 6 PM PST for a special social night exploring two gems of the Philippines: diving in Bohol and photographing the incredible mandarin fish. First, Bluewater’s Nirupam Nigam will take you to Bohol, one of the Philippines’ top diving destinations. We’ll cover what makes the region special, where to dive, the marine life you can expect to encounter, and how to plan the perfect Bohol dive trip. From colorful reefs and dramatic walls to turtles, schools of fish, and outstanding macro life, Bohol offers some of the best variety in the Philippines. Then, we’ll turn our attention to one of the most beautiful — and challenging — subjects in underwater photography: mandarin fish. Nirupam will share techniques for finding and photographing these brilliantly colored fish, including camera settings, lighting, composition, focusing in low light, and how to capture their famous sunset mating behavior. Whether you're planning your next dive trip to the Philippines or looking to improve your underwater photography, this social night will offer plenty of practical tips, photos, stories, and inspiration. The event will be held in person at Bluewater Photo, with free food and drinks for attendees. We’ll also be hosting an exciting raffle!
